Lucky's Last Chance (home of the peanut butter, jelly and bacon burger) is looking for dachshunds to participate in its 3rd Annual Great Wiener Dog Race in Manayunk. The event is part of a fundraiser for PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society).
On July 20, the extremely cute race will begin at 7 p.m. Registration is now open, so let Lucky's know if your pet wants to show off for a good cause.
While watching, drink beer and eat hot dogs to raise money for PAWS.
$1 from everything on the restaurant's special hot dog menu for the entire month of July goes directly to the organization, and all of the sales from Neshaminy Creek Brewing beers on race day will go to PAWS.
Gift bags and goodies for people and pets will also be handed out at the event.
