Who's laughing now? The Philadelphia Police have arrested these two men for robbing food delivery drivers at locations all over the river wards community throughout the month of September.

After at least five similar robberies of food delivery drivers at gunpoint, Philadelphia police have announced the arrests of two men who were caught on camera laughing as they spent victims' money.

Throughout the month of September, according to Sgt. John Massi of the 26th District, the two men -– Mahmoud Aguibi, 26 of the 2200 block of S. 27th St. and Mohamed Khelil-Cherfi, 26, of the 800 Morris St. – allegedly mugged at least five delivery drivers at various locations throughout the river wards community.

The first occurred on Sept. 13, when a driver delivering food to the 100 block of W. Oxford Street in Kensington was reportedly mugged by two men who held him at gunpoint and stole his wallet, Massi said

The officer said individuals matching the description of the suspects in that case were then believed to have committed four similar robberies.

On the very next day, a delivery driver stopping along the 1300 block of N. Hancock Street in Kensington was accosted by two men and robbed. Four days later, on Sept. 18, another delivery driver reported being robbed by two armed men as he tried to deliver food on the same block of N. Hancock Street, police said.

On Sept. 21, in the 1000 block of N. Orianna Street in Northern Liberties, a delivery driver reported that he was approached by two men who acted as if they were going to pay for their order, but then showed a gun and took his wallet.

And, finally, on Sept. 24, on the 800 block of N. 7th Street in the East Poplar neighborhood, a delivery driver told police that two men put a gun to his neck after acting like they were going to pay for their food. They took the driver's money and cell phone, police said.

Police tracked the victim's credit cards, and the alleged suspects were captured on surveillance video operating a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Honda Civic, using a stolen credit card at a Sunoco gas station at Knights and Woodhaven Road in Northeast Philadelphia at 2:17 a.m., and then at a Walmart inside the Franklin Mills Mall, police said.

In that video, the men can be seen laughing after wheeling out a television police said was purchased with a victim's credit card.

According to Massi, tips from the public led to the arrests and both men have allegedly admitted their roles in the robberies.
