Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was shot Tuesday night at a motel in North Philadelphia.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. at the Liberty Motel at 3256 Germantown Avenue. A 43-year-old man entered the property and was shot once in the thigh by an unidentified suspect.
The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and police have not recovered a weapon.
A motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
