We wrote some words on Monday about how the Sixers are big winners in the New Orleans-Sacramento trade that paired DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis. With that piece of business taken care of, I decided to then talk about it a little bit.
Over at Sixers Beat HQ, Derek Bodner and Max Rappaport sat down with me for a quick podcast (well, quick for us anyway) where we discussed pick swaps, the Kings’ unprotected pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and every Sixers angle from the Boogie blockbuster.
Toward the end of the podcast, we also discussed the latest Jahlil Okafor rumors (specifically, New Orleans offering a similar trade package as the one that landed them Cousins) and looked ahead to the NBA Trade Deadline. With the Pelicans now likely out on Okafor, will Bryan Colangelo be able to find a suitable deal before the deadline?
