With Carson Wentz and Nick Foles ahead of him, McGloin will be the Eagles' third quarterback, at best. Unless they draft a quarterback, the Eagles are likely to only keep two quarterbacks on their roster this season, so McGloin is probably little more than a camp arm as well as insurance against Wentz or Foles going down prior to the start of the season.
