'It's Always Sunny' cookbook shares recipes for rum ham, milk steak

In the new cookbook 'Paddy's Pub: The Worst Bar in Philadelphia,' author Laurel Randolph recreates some of the most iconic food and drinks from 'It's Always Sunny.' Recipes include rum ham, milk steak and a McPoyle milk punch. She tells PhillyVoice that a few foods, like turkey sangria, were too gross to make it into the book.

Jawn, the Philadelphia slang term used in 'Creed' and 'Abbott Elementary,' was added to Dictionary.com on Wednesday. Merriam-Webster is also considering adding the word, which refers to unspecified people, objects and places, to its dictionary.

Early school dismissals in Philly extended through Friday as heat wave persists

Due to an ongoing heat wave, the School District of Philadelphia has extended early dismissals to 86 schools without air conditioning or proper cooling for the remainder of the week. Temperatures are expected to hit 96 degrees on Thursday and 93 degrees on Friday. Students returned from summer break on Tuesday.
