Weckerly's opens second ice cream shop in King of Prussia Mall and will give away scoops to 100 customers on Sept. 19

Weckerly's has expanded with a new location in King of Prussia mall. The shop will serve 12 rotating flavors, including autumnal varieties like a pumpkin spice latte. The first 100 customers on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 6-9 p.m. will receive free ice cream for a special launch event.

Three people charged in alleged scheme to smuggle weapons, phones and drugs into Philly prison

Three people were indicted on federal bribery charges for allegedly conspiring to smuggle weapons, phones and drugs into the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center in Holmesburg. Breyanna Cornish, 29, and Jawayne Brown, 40, of Philadelphia, and Ahmad Nasir, 43, an inmate currently at SCI Greene, face lengthy possible prison sentences.
