The Trestle Inn wants to wash your dog

And it's all for a good cause

Dog Wash File Art/for PhillyVoice

Every doggie needs a wash now and then.

Have a dirty dog? Well, The Trestle Inn and Philly Pet Hotel are hosting "At the Dog Wash," a cleanup and fundraiser, Saturday, Aug. 1. Funds from the event will benefit the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.

They'll open up a doggie washing station on the sidewalk outside the eatery. J the Audiophile will provide the retro jams, Neshaminy Creek will be pouring their Croydon Cream Ale, and veggie food trucks will be on hand.

Each ticket includes a donation to PAWS plus two pints of beer. Fido-less guests who don't need a wash can buy "Wit Outta Dog" tickets for $15 less, too.
