Once again, Sly Fox Brewing Co. and the Schuylkill River Heritage Area have teamed up for the SRT Spree. Registration is now open.
The event celebrates two things: the Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) as a valuable recreational resource and the release of Sly Fox's seasonal SRT Ale.
Since the SRT Spree coincides with Earth Day (Saturday, April 22), all are encouraged to help clean up the trail before the day's big party.
The party will take place at St. Michael's Park in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania, from 2-8 p.m. There will be Sly Fox beer, live music by Chestnut Grove and food from Sunflower Food Truck and Uncle B's BBQ.
To get to the outdoor celebration, party-goers are asked to use the Schuylkill River Trail. Either kayak, bike or run to the location.
Those who want to run in a group can sign up for the Schuylkill River 50K or relay. More information on kayaking and cycling will be announced soon.
