The Drexel University chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon has a frat house at 3421 Powelton Ave.

A Drexel fraternity has been suspended amid an investigation into two reported sexual assaults.

The university announced the interim suspension of Tau Kappa Epsilon Tuesday amid a probe into assaults that allegedly happened at the frat house.

"Drexel does not tolerate sexual harassment or misconduct, in any form, and adheres to all federal, state and local requirements for intervention, crime reporting and privacy provisions related to sexual misconduct," the university said in a statement.

Fraternity officials said they're working with Drexel in the investigation, according to The Associated Press.

On Friday, school safety officials sent out a federally mandated advisory about the probe.

Schools are required to make students, faculty and staff aware of reported crimes that "may pose a threat to the campus community."

The assaults allegedly happened at the Tau Kappa Epsilon house, located at 3421 Powelton Ave., between April 28 and May 4.
