Parx Casino in Bensalem has opened a new on-site hotel, adding overnight accommodations to the property for the first time.
The Parxview Hotel opens Thursday with 160 guest rooms, including 16 suites, located steps from the casino floor.
The addition allows visitors to stay on-site instead of traveling back and forth the same day. It also brings Parx in line with other casino properties that already offer hotels as part of a full visit.
The hotel includes a fitness center, a seasonal outdoor pool, free parking and a shuttle between the hotel and casino. It is also fully smoke-free.
A new restaurant, the Bistro at Parxview Hotel, adds another dining option on the property, with a focus on casual food and drinks.
Parx Casino is one of the highest-grossing casinos in Pennsylvania, with more than 180,000 square feet of gaming space, along with restaurants, bars and live entertainment at the Xcite Center.
