Two of the biggest stars from MTV's "Jersey Shore" are teaming up for a new reality series that will pit them against one another in a friendly dating competition, the network announced Friday.

Best bros Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino will join forces in "Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D and Vinny," which will premiere later this year.

The competition will bring in 20 contestants vying for the affection of the two leading men, hoping to avoid the elimination ceremony. While the women battle it out, Pauly and Vinny will also compete in various challenges to woo the women they admire.

Guadagnino, 31, is looking for love, but will the "keto-Guido" find his match? Delvecchio, 38 and a father, still tours the world DJing while holding down his residency in Las Vegas. Can the women keep up with him?

These are the crucial questions the show — inspired by the success of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" — will be answering as the contestants are whittled down.

The series is an offshoot from "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," which aired for one season in 2008-09. That show featured bisexual twins Erica and Victoria Mongeon as they searched for matches among groups of 12 men and 12 women. a

The new series will again be a collaboration betwee MTV and "Jersey Shore" producer SallyAnn Salsano's 495 Productions.
