Pa. man allegedly raped woman, carved slur into her skin

A western Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged with allegedly raping and mutilating a woman, then threatening her to drive him home.

According to an Associated Press report on CBSPhilly, police say that last Friday, Michael Decarolis, of Turtle Creek, Allegheny County, went to the woman’s home in Plum Borough, also in Allegheny County, carved a slur into her stomach with a kitchen knife and forced her to have sex with him.

According to police, after the incident, Decarolis threatened the victim again with a knife to coerce her into giving him a ride home.

Decarolis has been charged with rape and aggravated assault. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4.
