Philly POPS to perform on Wildwood beach

Celebrate Fourth of July weekend with a concert at the shore

Updated on Thursday, June 30 at 9:27 a.m.: The POPS in Wildwood has been cancelled. Boardwalk Entertainment, the presenter, made the decision.

On July 2, the Philly POPS will kick off the holiday weekend with an evening show at the shore. The 65-piece POPS orchestra, led by music director Michael Krajewski, guest vocalists Allison Blackwell and Justin Hopkins, and the POPS ensemble will perform a beach concert in Wildwood, NJ.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children and veterans can attend for free. The concert is part of the Salute Series, which "encourages recognition of service and commitment," according to Philly POPS.

A portion of each ticket sale goes to support Operation First Response, The Michael Strange Foundation, Wildwood Vietnam Veterans and the Wildwood American Legion.
