A Bucks County man was arrested and charged with sexual assault after 12 females were found on his property on Thursday after a search by the Lower Southampton Township Police Department.

Lee Kaplan, 51, of the 400 block of Old Street Road in Feasterville, was charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a minor, indecent assault of a minor, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor.

Southampton police responded to a complaint about the health and safety of the children at Kaplan's home. Kaplan had told a neighbor that no children lived on the property.

When officers arrived at the residence, 12 female victims between the ages of six months and 18 years old were found on the property.

An 18-year-old victim told officers that she was the mother of two of the children and Kaplan was the father. Kaplan admitted to officers that he had sex with the victim when she was 14 years old and was the father of those two children.

Kaplan also admitted that the 18-year-old victim was "gifted" to him by her parents.

The father told officers that he "gifted" his daughter to Kaplan for helping his family out financially.

Both parents claimed they were aware that Kaplan was having sex with their daughter when she was 14 years old.

Both parents were charged with criminal conspiracy to commit statutory sexual assault and endangering the welfare of children.

An investigation is ongoing.
