50 pounds of marijuana were shipped to the wrong home in New Jersey.

It's not unusual for packages to be accidently sent to the wrong address on occasion. It is strange when that package contains enough weed for a Doug Benson documentary.

According to police in Hazlet, New Jersey, authorities were contacted earlier this week when a shipment showed up at a residence that wasn't addressed to anyone who lives there.

When officers opened up the delivery they discovered 50 pounds of marijuana.

The Hazlet Police Department had a bit of fun in a Facebook post announcing the seizure.

"If you were expecting these packages and would like to claim them, please come to Police Headquarters," the post read. "In the meantime our detectives will be working with County, State, and Federal Law Enforcement agencies to locate the owner of this property."

If you're daft enough to take up their offer, police headquarters is located at 255 Middle Rd. in Hazlet.
