Kelly Oubre Jr. #9 of the Philadelphia 76ers talks with a coach prior to an NBA basketball game between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers at Xfinity Mobile Arena on November 11, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

PHILADELPHIA – Kelly Oubre Jr. will be re-evaluated in two weeks due to an LCL sprain in his left knee, the Sixers said on Wednesday evening.

Oubre, who had been one of the Sixers' most valuable and consistent pieces early on in the season, suffered a hyperextension in his knee on Friday night in Detroit and has not played since. Sixers head coach Nick Nurse indicated in his pregame media availability on Wednesday that a substantive update of some kind would be provided as far as Oubre's status is concerned before the end of Wednesday night.

Before leaving Friday's game after the first half, Oubre had averaged 36.7 minutes per game for the Sixers this year, becoming a critical two-way rotation fixture.
