In the Philadelphia Eagles' second preseason game against the New England Patriots, the Birds looked, uh, less than awesome. They also had a significant injury scare that should make Doug Pederson and the gang re-think how much the starter play the rest of the way throughout the preseason.

The Eagles and Patriots will be playing football tonight — with Nick Foles and Tom Brady under center (for at least a few series). It may be the first watchable Birds football of the season, and we've got you covered.

The Philadelphia Eagles will conclude training camp Tuesday morning, or at least the portion of training camp that the media is allowed to watch. Arm strength has always been one of Carson Wentz's strengths, and it was perhaps logical to expect that the velocity on his throws would dip a bit, simply because he is still rehabbing his torn ACL and LCL, suffered in December of last year. That has not been the case. In fact, according to data the Eagles use that tracks such things, Wentz is throwing with more velocity than he was in 2016 or 2017.
