NFL personnel people rank Sam Bradford the 23rd best starting quarterback

Mike Sando of ESPN put out a truly outstanding piece on NFL quarterbacks (pay site). Sando got an impressive voting panel of 35 league insiders (eight personnel directors, six general managers, four head coaches, five offensive coordinators, five defensive coordinators, three salary-cap managers, two ex-GMs, two ex-head coaches, and one offensive assistant coach) to spill their guts about the NFL's signal callers.

10 reasons the Eagles will be a dumpster fire this season

The 'Jason Babin Award' watch list: Which Eagles will likely come back to Earth in 2015?

Every year, there seem to be a few players who over-perform statistically, and expectations for those players become somewhat unrealistic. Take Jason Babin, for example. In 2011, Babin had 18 sacks and three forced fumbles in Jim Washburn's garbage wide-nine defensive front. The following year, Babin was essentially kicked off the team with five games left in the season. So we'll call this the "Jason Babin Award" watch list. To note, it's not at all a bad thing to make this list. If you're on it, it means you had a hell of a 2014 season, which you're unlikely to repeat.

What they're saying: To pay or not pay Fletcher Cox

Back in April, the Eagles picked up the fifth year option on Fletcher Cox's rookie contract, which will keep him under the Eagles' control for the next two seasons. According to overthecap.com, Cox will count for $3,258,563 against the salary cap in 2015, and $7,799,000 against the cap in 2016. There are plenty of reasons to get a long term deal done with Cox now. There are also some reasons not to.

This will be 100 percent vitriolic.
