No matter where you are in Philadelphia at any given time, even a mere glimpse of our skyline is enough to connect residents to a shared a sense of pride and ownership.

For several months now, Philadelphia videographer Cory J. Popp has brought us vivid montages of some of the greatest sights our city has to offer. His 'Uncover Philly' series stands as a powerful testament to the beauty and wonder of a vibrant metropolis packed with history and contemporary shine.

Popp's latest installment is his most ambitious yet. Over a 4-week period, Brandywine Realty Trust gave him unlimited access to film from some of Philadelphia's highest rooftops.

This is the largest story I've ever shot, and is the result of 4 weeks, 70 hours, 230 GB, 204 video clips, and 40 timelapses made from 16,228 photographs. This is my first story to be released in 4k, and captures and incredible amount of detail that can be seen from this perspective.

This video is well worth marveling at a few times to really take in the majesty of Philadelphia in a flawlessly shot aerial tour.

Head over to Popp's Etsy page to browse framed prints from throughout the series available for purchase.
