Flavors on the Avenue to feature five blocks of food and drink

Flavors of the Avenue becomes Flavors on the Avenue this year. The festival moves out of the tent and onto the street.

East Passyunk's annual Flavors of the Avenue event will become a street festival this year, changing its name to Flavors on the Avenue.

The event will no longer be held under a large tent but will take place on East Passyunk Avenue from Broad to Dickinson streets.

The food and drink festival will feature dishes from neighborhood restaurants, shopping specials, a craft market and family-friendly activities. It will run from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 30.

VIP tickets for the festival are $50 per person and include a sample-size dish from each participating restaurant, two glasses of beer or wine and a free valet parking voucher.

Those who don't purchase tickets can pick and choose what they wish to eat and drink at the festival. Dishes will be available for $3-$6 each.
