Officials and medics responded late Friday afternoon to the scene of a pedestrian crash in North Philadelphia in which a police patrol car reportedly struck a teenage victim.
According to NBC 10, a Philadelphia Police officer struck the pedestrian on the 600 block of N. Broad Street at around 5:45 p.m.
CBS 3 reports that the pedestrian, a 13-year-old boy, sustained head injuries in the crash, but was transported to Hahnemann Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening facial injuries.
There was no immediate word on what led to the crash.
