Source: Eagles will not release center Jason Kelce

According to a source, there is a zero percent chance the Eagles will release center Jason Kelce, despite the team suddenly being stacked with interior offensive linemen.

Currently, the Eagles' offensive line depth would look something like this if the season were to begin today:

LTJason Peters Matt Tobin Dillon Gordon
LGIsaac Seumalo  Allen BarbreDallas Thomas Aaron Neary
CJason Kelce Stefen Wisniewski Josh AndrewsJosh LeRibeus
RGBrandon Brooks Chance Warmack Darrell Greene
RTLane Johnson Halapoulivaati Vaitai Taylor Hart

All three of the Eagles' projected second-team reserves along the interior of their offensive line have extensive experience starting in the NFL, so it became something of an assumption that Kelce would no longer be on the roster, one way or the other.

In January, PhillyVoice reported that the Eagles were considering moving on from Kelce, potentially by trade or release. The latter is not an option, the source said.
