A week ago, despite leading the NFL in point differential at +34, the Philadelphia Eagles were ranked as low as 15th (!) in (meaningless) power rankings on national media outlets. As we know, power rankings are kind of pointless, but we click them anyway. Here's a roundup of where the Eagles "rank" after their impressive obliteration of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Little known fact: The Eagles could have drafted safety Earl Thomas in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but instead they took Brandon Graham. Has anyone ever noted that?

In his final season at West Virginia, running back Wendell Smallwood had 58 runs of 10+ yards, which tied for the NCAA lead. In fact, 24.4 percent of Smallwood's runs in 2015 went for gains of 10+ yards. He ran a 4.47 at the Combine, where only five of 25 running backs competing ran better times. At his Pro Day, Smallwood ran a 4.41 and a 4.42. The moral of the story here -- Smallwood has burst.

Just like he did after Week 1 of the 2016 regular season, Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz will almost certainly bring home Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week honors. That is unless there are Dak Prescott ballot-stuffers.

After no Hierarchy/Obituary the first two weeks of the season, it's back! My apologies for that. These things take forever to do (if they're going to be good, anyway), so due to time constraints they'll be a little more sporadic this season, as opposed to an every week feature.

In the first three games this season, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and wide receiver Jordan Matthews have hooked up for two touchdowns. After each TD connection, they engaged in a choreographed TD celebration.

Ever since quarterback Carson Wentz was selected second overall on the 2016 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles, he has been compared to a slew of awesome quarterbacks.

Quarterback Carson Wentz has been the story of the Philadelphia Eagles' season so far (maybe even the biggest story in the NFL), and deservedly so. What he has done in his first three games as a rookie is far beyond what anyone could have reasonably expected of him. However, in the Week 3 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Wentz was right to point out that a big part of his success has been due to the play of his offensive line.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers both have short injury lists, although both teams will be without key contributors for their matchup Sunday afternoon.
