Eagles hire Brian Dawkins to be part of their scouting department

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Saturday morning that they have added Brian Dawkins to their scouting department. Dawkins played from 1996 to 2011 (1996 to 2008 with the Eagles), racking up four first-team All-Pro honors two second-team All-Pro honors, and nine trips to the Pro Bowl. He's kind of a big deal locally.

Yet, when asked if the Eagles had to fit Bradford on the cap for 2017, could the Eagles possibly do it, Roseman emphatically said they could.

Howie Roseman responds to 'worst GM in the NFL' ranking

A few weeks ago, The Sporting News published a ranking of the NFL's general managers from 1-32. (Warning: It's a slideshow). The best GM? The Denver Broncos' John Elway. The worst? The Philadelphia Eagles' Howie Roseman. Appearing as a guest on the Mike and Ike show on 94.1 WIP Friday afternoon, Roseman was told of his ranking and asked for his opinion on it, to which Roseman optimistically replied, "Nowhere to go but up!"
