Carson Wentz resides squarely behind Sam Bradford's shoulder

For the first time in 2016, the Eagles practiced as a team at Eagles OTAs on Tuesday. There was a big, rich, talented, costly redheaded dude running with the third string offense. The quarterback running with the first string offense, of course, was the sleeved one, Sam Bradford. During practice, all media attention was on the guy running the third string offense, Carson Wentz. Sam Bradford knows he's there (duh), and he knows it's only a matter of time before Wentz is taking snaps from Jason Kelce and he's... not.

Eagles rookie defensive end Alex McCalister game review

A number of the Eagles' selections in the 2016 NFL Draft have had off-the-field issues, and the coverage of them has focused initially on that. Sunday, we began looking at those players on the field, beginning with Eagles fifth round running back Wendell Smallwood. Today we'll continue on with seventh round defensive end Alex McCalister from Florida.

Eagles' rookie minicamp practice notes

On Friday, the Eagles had their first official practice session open to the media for the first time in 2016. The Eagles had 53 players in attendance -- all eight of their draft picks, 17 undrafted rookie free agents, four players entering their second year in the NFL, and 26 "tryouts." We (the media) were only in there a short time and the Eagles were running extremely basic drills, but hey, this is like a "practice notes" tune up for me, so I'll take it.

Will Jason Peters buy what Carson Wentz is selling?

While it could take Wentz longer to win the trust of the vets in the locker room, it's a good sign that his initial mindset is similar to that of the most respected Eagle over the last half decade.

Eagles notes: A second look at the absolute steal the Eagles got by moving from 13 to 8

The Titans had to give up a 2 and a 3 to move up from pick No. 15 to pick No. 8. What would you rather have -- Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso, or a 2 and a 3?

Tom Condon (Sam Bradford's agent) speaks again: Let's dissect his wrongness, again

Two days before the 2016 NFL Draft, Tom Condon, the agent for Sam Bradford, appeared on SiriusXM radio and talked for four-plus minutes about the plight of his client in the wake of the Eagles trading up to the No. 2 overall pick, which was to become a quarterback. It's now almost three weeks later, and Condon is still spewing the same garbage rhetoric, and expanding on it. Let's dissect his words again, because frankly, it's fun.
