Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Chipotle has revealed its famous guacamole recipe, a simple blend of six ingredients that causes people to shamelessly lick their salty fingers and battle for the last chip.
The recipe, a perfect balance of smooth and chunky avocados blended with an assortment of secret spices, a jalapeño pepper and a hint of lime, can be made in less than five minutes, but be warned, it will disappear just as quickly, so we advise you to double the batch.

• 2 teaspoons lime juice
• 2 tablespoons cilantro (chopped)
• ¼ cup red onion (finely chopped)

- Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit (carefully).
- Scoop the avocados and place in a medium bowl.
- Toss and coat with lime juice.
- Add the salt, and using a fork or potato masher, mash until
a smooth consistency is achieved.
- Fold in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Taste the guacamole (over and over) and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
