This is the eigth year that Koons has donated holiday gifts to students.
For the eighth straight year, South Jersey Realtor and Resident Anne Koons visited students in Camden to deliver presents for the holidays. Since beginning this annual tradition in 2013, Koons has brought smiles to the faces of more than 1,500 children.
NFI Logistics delivered over 350 presents for grades K-3 at the Catholic Partnerships schools and then Koons brought 334 gifts (which she personally wrapped with Fern Mitnick, a friend and local attorney) for the children in 4th - 8th grade at St. Joseph’s Pro Cathedral. Koons also brought cookies donated by Crazy Susan Cookies and more to help celebrate before Christmas this week.
“This year, I felt more compelled than ever to make sure these children were able to experience some Christmas joy given all of the hardships many have faced. There is nothing better than seeing the smile and joy on the faces of the children when they not only receive their gifts, but then get to unwrap the present too,” said Anne Koons. “It is great be able to help bring volunteers and businesses like NFI Logistics together at this time of year to help make sure everyone in our community gets to have something special this Christmas season.”
