This dish is called "Eggs in Purgatory" and is available on Bufad's new brunch menu. The dish consists of two farm eggs baked in marinara with sweet peppers.

The wood-fired pizza place Bufad on Spring Garden Street will now also serve brunch every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.

A few of the usual pizzas will be available for those fanatics who agree pizza is perfect at any time of the day, but other items will relate more to the typical brunch staples.

Some dishes that stand out are the Cannoli French Toast stuffed with banana ricotta, the Roman Benedict made with pizza, two poached eggs and hollandaise and the Eggs in Purgatory that is baked with marinara sauce.

If you're unsure that pizza counts as breakfast, Bufad is out to prove you wrong.
