Police are looking to identify a woman wanted for placing a skimming device on an ATM in Center City.
Philadelphia police are looking for an unidentified woman who installed a skimming device on an ATM machine located on the 1800 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
Investigators obtained a video showing the female placing tape over the ATM camera and installing the device several times beginning on Sunday. Police learned of the device on Wednesday.
Skimming devices record the account numbers of cards inserted in the machine.
Photos depict the woman as wearing dark clothing, red shoes and a dark baseball cap.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 215-686-3396 or call 911.
