The Eagles are far from the juggernaut Super Bowl favorites many expected them to be in defense of their world championship. So, I guess the Sixers are guaranteed at least 42 wins this season.
Philadelphia's home court advantage seems insurmountable this season, as a 133-132 win over the Hornet Friday night moved the squad to a perfect 7-0 on home hardwood (with 34 home games to go).

There are two big prizes this offseason: Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.
With the hot stove officially on, the Phillies are expected to be one of the favorites to sign both — or if you ask Las Vegas oddsmakers, THE favorite.

MLB's free agency officially begins Friday afternoon, which is when the clock will begin on Manny Machado and Bryce Harper as each treks to find a home for 2019 and beyond. Obviously, the Phillies hope they are the chosen ones this fall — Las Vegas seems to think they are. But there are more monster players potentially on the move this offseason.
