Week 3 of the NFL season is in the books, and there is only one remaining winless team left in the conference. That would be the Arizona Cardinals, who learned the same lesson as the (formerly) St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and Minnesota Vikings – Never hitch your wagon to Sam Bradford.

Long has been a great addition for the Eagles, not just for his play on the field, but for his contributions off of it, and this is just one more example how.

Over the first two weeks of the season, the Eagles had guys that you and I didn't know existed five months ago playing meaningful snaps in their offense. In Week 3, things settled down a bit, and the offense is beginning to look more recognizable. Let's look at the snap counts for the Birds against the Colts, position-by-position.

As usual, the Philadelphia Eagles will head into another matchup with more than just a handful of significant absences, though their Week 2 opponent, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, have serious injury concerns as well, as they'll be missing both of their starting cornerbacks.

The Philadelphia Eagles eked out a nail-biter that came down to a pair of defensive stands to seal a win against Frank Reich, Andrew Luck, and the Indianapolis Colts. Oh, and Carson Wentz played for the first time since he tore his ACL and LCL last December! As always, win or lose, we hand out 10 awards.

Against the Colts, Carson Wentz will make his return to the lineup as the Birds' starting quarterback.

In past seasons, Philadelphia Eagles fans generally rooted for their own team, and kept an eye on the rest of the NFC East. In 2018, with the Birds being favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, it's perhaps worth keeping tabs on the conference, as opposed to just the division. And so, each week we'll lay out a rooting guide for non-Eagles games on the NFL schedule, and yes, I'm aware that most of this is obvious.

As long as you're taking in some of the college football action this Saturday, here are some players who could make sense for the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2019 NFL Draft, in which the Birds are projected to have 12 picks.

In the Philadelphia Eagles' loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, cornerback Jalen Mills was bad. #Analysis. By my count, he gave up 8 receptions on 8 targets for a buttload of yards and a couple scores. There were 0 wags of the finger.

We're into Week 3 of the regular season, and the Philadelphia Eagles remain banged up. BUT... they're getting healthier where it really matters, as Carson Wentz will make his 2018 debut. The Indianapolis Colts, meanwhile, are dealing with a number of key injuries of their own. Here's the Eagles-Colts final injury report before game day.
