Report: Eagles in talks with Dolphins to trade Byron Maxwell

Maxwell is scheduled to count for $9.7 million on their salary cap this season. The Eagles can save $4.9 million off their cap if they can trade him. He would count for $4.8 million on their cap in that scenario.

Eagles free agency primer: 15 players who could be of interest

The Eagles will head into free agency this offseason with $17.4 million under the cap and a need to lock up Fletcher Cox long-term, which is on the Eagles' minds. That cap figure is less than what we're used to seeing (cough, Chip Kelly cough), however, the Eagles could still be active in free agency. They'll just need to shop at WalMart instead of Nordstrom Rack.

Report: Eagles RB Ryan Mathews on the trading block

Mathews was good last season when he was healthy. He gained 539 yards and scored six touchdowns on 106 carries (5.1 yards per carry), and was far more effective than Murray. However, as he has over the entire course of his career, Mathews was unable to consistently stay healthy.

Eagles will make sure there's enough money for Fletcher Cox

So far this offseason, the Eagles have handed out new contracts to Zach Ertz, Brent Celek, Vinny Curry, Malcolm Jenkins, and most recently, Sam Bradford. Will there be enough money left over to pay the Eagles' best player, Fletcher Cox?

Paxton Lynch threw the fastest football on the radar gun at the 2016 NFL Combine

One of the lesser known drills at the NFL Combine is the radar gun test, which for some strange reason NFL Network does not air on television. Essentially, each quarterback lets it rip, and a radar gun measures the football's speed, much like a baseball pitcher's.

Eagles tender one-year contract to restricted free agent OG Matt Tobin

The Eagles tendered a one-year contract to restricted free agent Matt Tobin this morning. He was presumably tendered by the team at the “original round” price of approximately $1.67 million, which is the lowest tender a restricted free agent can receive.
