Support local businesses in Chestnut Hill during the annual Stag and Doe Nights in December.

Chestnut Hill's Stag and Doe Nights, a longstanding holiday tradition in the neighborhood, will take place on Wednesdays leading up to Christmas Day.

Festively decorated stores along Germantown Avenue will extend their hours, staying open until 9 p.m. Inside many of the shops, there will be special sales and promotions, along with treats like wine, cheese, hot chocolate and cookies.

On the Avenue, there will be strolling carolers to entertain shoppers as they browse the window displays. Santa might make an appearance, too.

Businesses in Chestnut Hill include spas like 3000 BC; clothing stores like J. McLaughlin, Mango and Style Camp; children's boutiques like Villavillekula; speciality food stores like Chestnut Hill Cheese Shop and A Taste of Olive; and lifestyle shops like greendesign, among others.

Robertson's Flowers will be hosting an all-day 90th anniversary celebration on the first Stage and Doe Night, on Dec. 6. There will be giveaways, free 90th anniversary merchandise for qualifying purchases and one lucky attendee will win flowers for a year.
