The owners of a Chester County bistro are opening a cooking school for children.
Nancy and Craig Miller, who own Station Bistro in Kimberton, are launching Parzival Academy, a private school initially being run out of Camp Sankanac in Spring City. The school is enrolling students in grades 1-6 for the fall, according to
The Daily Local News.
Parzival Academy is using Waldorf educational philosophy, which incorporates music, arts, drama and movement into its classes, according to the school's
website. The school offers a 5-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio designed to meet the needs of students with alternative learning styles.
Nancy Miller told the newspaper that the school will include a farm as a way to highlight ways to support oneself. They also plan to open an artisan tech high school in the future.
