Joel Embiid is everywhere. Or maybe it just seems that way.
The latest example came on Monday night, when people watching the MLB All-Star Game Home Run Derby were greeted by a cameo from the Sixers center, who was in Miami hanging out with Philly rapper Meek Mill.
More specifically, the two were hanging out by The Clevelander – not the one on South Beach, but the one located just beyond the left field wall at Marlins Park, where the forecast was calling for baseball showers.
Unfortunately, the seven-footer wasn't able to make the grab on the home run by Twins slugger Miguel Sano – not even with that massive wingspan. Here's a shot-by-shot breakdown:

Although Embiid didn't come away with that one, he got some more chances as the night went on, and ultimately came away with two home run balls.

Oh. My. God. Look how small a baseball looks in his giant hands.

Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge beat Marlins first baseman Justin Bour in the first round, Dodgers rookie Cody Bellinger in the semis, and Sano in the finals on his way to winning the 2017 Home Run Derby title.
