Limo driver shot and killed in Olney

A limousine driver was shot and killed in Olney on Thursday night after two suspects approached the passenger door and opened fire just after 9:30 p.m., NBC 10 reports


According to Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the limo driver was sitting in his Chrysler 300 on Tabor Road and Mascher Street near the Olney Train Station. The car was hit four times and the driver was struck in the upper torso.  

Police say that the vehicle hit a telephone pole after the driver was shot. Both suspects fled the scene after the shooting, one wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and the other dressed in dark clothing, police said. 

The identity of the driver has not been released.
