Authorities in Bucks County are investigating after an unidentified male pedestrian was struck by a SEPTA train Sunday morning in Lower Makefield.
Officials say the incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. near SEPTA's Woodbourne station, according to 6 ABC.
The pedestrian was reportedly struck by a northbound train on the West Trenton line.
Foul play was not suspected, but it was unclear why the man was walking on the tracks.
SEPTA temporarily suspended service between Woodbourne station and West Trenton while police investigated the scene. Twenty-seven people who were on board the train were transferred to a SEPTA bus and later shuttled to their respective destinations.
