Most people don't look forward to colonoscopies, but for one man the dreaded procedure turned into a big payday after an anesthesiologist mocked him during his sedation.

According to People, the unidentified patient used his phone to record post-surgery care instructions, but left the recording going through the procedure. What he discovered later on horrified him.

"After five minutes of talking to you in pre-op, I wanted to punch you in the face and man you up a little bit," the anesthesiologist, identified as Tiffany Ingham, told the sedated patient.

The barbs only worsened as things went on, as evidenced by the NSFW recording below.

The man decided to sue Ingham, the gastroenterologist who performed the operation, and both of their practices for defamation and medical malpractice. After a three-day trial, a judge in Fairfax county ordered Ingham and her practice to pay the man $500,000, while the gastroenterologist was dismissed from the case on the first day.
