A Philadelphia man is in police custody after he allegedly shot to death his girlfriend’s ex-lover who broke into the woman’s home early Monday.
According to NBC10, the 24-year-old victim entered the West Philadelphia home through a window, where the current boyfriend, woman and two children were staying, at around midnight.
Police said the ex-boyfriend was armed. A confrontation between the current and ex-boyfriend then ensued, which lead to the shooting.
The 24-year-old victim was shot “twice in the head and once in the arm,” NBC10 reports. An investigation is ongoing and no charges have been announced at this time.
Neither the name of the victim or shooter has been released.
