Police in Abington are investigating after a man was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in the Montgomery County township.
Authorities say the incident occurred Wednesday just after 2:00 p.m. on the 1700 block of Prospect Avenue, according to 6 ABC.
Initial reports suggest that the victim, who has not been identified, possibly took his own life.
Police were able to locate a suspect a few blocks from the scene of the shooting, about a mile away from the Willow Grove Mall.
The suspect has not been identified and no charges have been announced.
