Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times late Friday night outside of the Xanadu Bar in North Philadelphia.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred at around 11:50 p.m. on the 3100 block of North 6th Street, 6 ABC reports.
When police responded to the scene, a 37-year-old male victim was found lying on the street outside the bar. Officials did not identify the victim but said that he had been working security at the front door.
A motive for the shooting was not immediately known, but police said a gunman looked at the victim and then began to open fire.
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital for surgery. His condition has not been released.
Investigators continue to search for a suspect in the shooting.
