Police: Masked men rob Northeast Philly barbershop

Investigators described armed suspects as four Hispanic males wearing masks and gloves

Philadelphia police are investigating after four masked men robbed a barbershop at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon in Northeast Philadelphia.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Razor Cuts barbershop located on the 4300 block of M Street in the Juniata section of the city, NBC 10 reports.

The armed suspects allegedly stormed into the barbershop and robbed both employees and customers before ordering everyone into the restroom. Investigators say the suspects then fled the scene.

There were no injuries or shots fired during the incident.

The suspects were described as four Hispanic men dressed in all black, wearing masks and gloves.

Investigators are seeking to determine whether the incident is linked in any way to a similar robbery that occurred last week at a barbershop on Wyoming Avenue and Tampa Street.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-3060.
