The Philadelphia Police Department has released a Traffic Delay Advisory for the duration of the weekend, 4/11/15 and 4/12/15. The following areas will be most heavily affected, as noted by police.
There will be major traffic delays over the weekend due to events and construction that has been scheduled. The following roads will have full or partial closures:
Saturday, 04/11/2015:
· Martin Luther King Drive/Eakins Oval: Closed for
The Walk Against Hunger/Cherry Blossom 5K/10K Run
6:00 AM to approximately 12:00 PM
· The Wharton 5K Run will be held on University of Pennsylvania's Campus: 40th Street (Walnut to Pine Streets) and Pine Street (40th Street to Baltimore Avenue)
6:00 AM to approximately 12:00 PM
The following locations will be closed due to crane lifts:
· Arch Street (Broad to 15th Streets): 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM
· 10th Street (Chestnut to Sansom Streets): 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
· Sansom Street (6th to 7th Streets); 7:00 AM x 3:30 PM
· 18th Street (Market to Chestnut Streets) 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
· Spring Garden Street (15th to 16th Streets): 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
· 17th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway: 7:00 AM x 5:00 PM
· Chestnut Street (Broad to Juniper Streets): 1:00 AM - 11:00 AM
· 1900 Arch Street: 7:00 AM x 3:30 PM
· Grant Avenue & Roosevelt Blvd: 8:00 AM x 4:00 PM
· 1500 Locust Street (Academy of Music): 9:30 PM x 5:30 AM

· Kelly Drive: The Manny Flick Regatta: Traffic detoured from Kelly Drive between Strawberry Mansion Bridge & Fountain Green Drive.

· Columbus Blvd (Under Walt Whitman Bridge): 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
· 11th & Wharton Streets (Line Striping Detail): 8:00 PM x 4:00 AM
