Suspect sought in Camden hit-and-run collision that injured 7-year-old

Police are asking the public for help on Saturday identifying the driver in a hit-and-run collision in Camden, New Jersey.

The incident occurred Friday around 4 p.m. in a parking lot on the 200 block of Branch Village.

The suspect's vehicle struck a 7-year-old boy while pulling into the lot from Ferry Avenue. After the collision, the vehicle drove toward 9th Street and fled the area.

The victim was rushed to Cooper University Hospital, where his condition is unknown.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a black or gray SUV with a Pennsylvania license plate containing the letters "DLW."
