South Jersey police seek suspect who drove around shooting paintball gun at pedestrians

A 5-year-old child was struck in the back but was not injured

Police in South Jersey are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for shooting a paintball gun at pedestrians over the weekend.

Mount Laurel Police responded to the area of Willow Turn near Delancy Place at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday after a report of a small car speeding through the neighborhood. 

According to an alert on the department's Facebook page, the subject in the vehicle was reportedly shooting a paintball gun at pedestrians. 

Police say a 56-year-old victim was shot at while he was in his driveway, and two juveniles were shot at as they walked on the sidewalk. A 5-year-old child was struck in the back but was not injured. 

The suspect was traveling in a small, dark-colored, four-door sedan, police said.
