Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants have come to an agreement on a five year extension, according to pretty much every national NFL reporter. The deal is reportedly worth $95 million ($19 million per season), with a whopping $65 million guaranteed.

Assuming Carson Wentz is cleared by doctors, is it worth playing him Week 1? In a game that has the makings of a conference playoff-shaping outcome, it is, in my view, absolutely worth playing him over holding him out for some arbitrary period of time to begin the season.
