All those other season-ending injuries aside, Eagles nearly fully healthy

It would be a little ridiculous to call the Philadelphia Eagles a "healthy" team, given the season-ending losses of Carson Wentz, Jason Peters, Jordan Hicks, Darren Sproles, and well, you know the list by now. However, it seems that Doug Pederson's plan to rest his starters the final week of the regular season did at least result in (almost) the rest of the roster healing up and being ready to go for their first playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons.

NFL referee assignments are out, and it will be a familiar crew for the Philadelphia Eagles' matchup against the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday. The Eagles and Falcons drew Bill Vinovich, according to FootballZebras.com. So at least it's not Pete Morelli, right?

Carson Wentz voted MVP (but not the real one)

When the NFL announces the MVP of the 2017 season, it likely won't be Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who tore his ACL Week 14 in Los Angeles against the Rams, ending his season  (you know, in case you've been living in a cave). Even with the injury, Wentz is still very much deserving of the award, though all indications are that it will go to Tom Brady, who couldn't even win a single "Patriot of the Week" award this season.
