For the second straight year, Cox was named second team All Pro. Cox had nine votes as a DT, and two as a DE. He finished behind Aaron Donald (no issue there), who had 47 votes, and Geno Atkins, who had 23. A comparison of Atkins' numbers vs Cox's:

Earlier in the week, we published our first Eagles-only mock draft of the offseason, which won three Pulitzers already. A number of you asked if we could point out some additional options with the Eagles' first round pick. Since I'm a man of the people, I obliged. Below is my initial "top 10 Eagles big board" of the offseason, which will undoubtedly change as we continue forward with the offseason.

Adam Gase had extraordinary success working with Tim Tebow, Peyton Manning, and Jay Cutler, who all had the best seasons of their careers under Gase's watch. However, Gase's success didn't stop at the quarterback position -- He also guided wide receivers to some of their best seasons in the pros.

The Eagles announced that they interviewed Ben McAdoo today for their head coaching vacancy. It was widely reported that he was interviewing with the Birds, but their announcement makes it official that it has indeed happened.

For the gambling degenerates, here are my NFL wildcard round picks. To note, the helmets indicate who I think will win the game, not cover the spread. At the end of the picks, I'll note a few teams that I like based on the spread.

Last Tuesday night, Jeffrey Lurie fired Chip Kelly. It was big news, in case you missed it. The ensuing Wednesday, our poor little weekly Eagles chat did not occur, as our coverage of Chip's firing took precedence. Selfish Eagles -- always thinking of themselves, and not our weekly chat. This week, we may have a few things to discuss.

The Eagles have some important things to figure out this offseason. They have to hire a new coach. That's kind of a big one. Then they have to hire the rest of the coaching staff. And then there's a quarterback and what to do with him. So they'll be busy this offseason. A little bit further down the Eagles' priority list is trying to re-sign their best player, Fletcher Cox.

Three years ago, before the Eagles hired Chip Kelly, they interviewed a lot of head coaching candidates. They may do that again this time around. Let's recap each name they've been tied to so far.
