Steve's Prince of Steaks, the long-running Philly cheesesteak shop, put up a sign this week in Wildwood, New Jersey at 2701 New Jersey Ave. An opening date for the new shop has not been provided. Steve's opened in Northeast Philadelphia in 1980 and currently has two locations there and one in Langhorne, Bucks County.

$200,000 in dimes stolen from trailer parked at Walmart in Northeast Philly, police say

Police are investigating the theft of an estimated $200,000 in dimes stolen from a trailer that was parked overnight outside of a Walmart in Northeast Philadelphia. The trailer, which had about $750,000 in dimes inside, had been left in the parking lot by a truck driver who picked up a shipment of the coins from the U.S. Mint on Wednesday. In the lot along Byberry Road, thousands of dimes were found scattered on Thursday morning. An investigation into the theft is ongoing.

David's Bridal, the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania-based chain, will lay off more than 9,000 workers in the U.S. ahead of a potential sale. The company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2019, but was hard-hit by the public health restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in the wedding industry that have followed.
